Our vision is to enhance building performance through the innovative application of advanced materials, thereby improving energy efficiency, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and strengthening fire safety performance.
We develop technologies that maximize the thermal storage and insulation performance of buildings by utilizing advanced materials such as phase change materials and carbon nanomaterials, and integrate passive building design to minimize energy consumption.
We develop functional materials that reduce environmental impact and investigate technologies that effectively mitigate indoor pollutants using porous materials.
We apply flame-retardant materials to evaluate and improve buildings' fire safety performance, and research ways to enhance safety and reliability during fire events.
